Thank you for your interest in learning more about Bel Air Towing! We are a family owned business based in Hernando, MS. We service Hernando, Horn Lake, Southaven, Olive Branch, Lewisburg, Nesbit, Hernando, Coldwater, Senatobia, all of DeSoto County, and the surrounding area. We have clean, modern equipment, and provide fast and professional service right when you need it.

We also specialize in damage free towing for luxury autos, classics, sports cars, and exotics… even cars with altered suspension! Whether its lifted, lowered, or air bagged, we are your specialty auto towing provider. We are passionate about these unique rides, and understand that they require special handling. We have invested in the proper equipment and take the time necessary to accommodate these “hard to tow” vehicles. 

From the Owner:

I understand there are many options available when hiring a towing company, but we are not all the same. It’s like when you go to Dollar General, Wal-Mart, or Target…. they pretty much offer the same things, but you probably expect to have a different experience with each, as you typically get what you pay for. Same with the towing industry. Prompt service vs. waiting 4-5 hours, safe and modern equipment vs. junkyard haulers with minimal equipment, and clean and smoke free trucks for any passengers vs. dirty junk-filled trucks that smell like gas, oil, and cigarette smoke that leave you looking for hand sanitizer and wondering when you last had a Tetanus shot.

If you have made it this far, and are curious… let me tell you about my feelings on customer service, and where the name "Bel Air Towing" came from. One of my favorite childhood memories was going to a full service gas station with my grandmother in her '67 Chrysler Newport she nicknamed "Gertrude". We would pull into the station and run over the hose that dings the bell inside, and someone would hustle out and pump our gas, check the tire pressure, oil level, and clean the windshield. She would then give me a couple of quarters to drop in their hand as a thank you… sometimes she would give an extra quarter for good service. I always thought that was so cool as a little kid... and from that, I've always been one that appreciates great customer service. Sadly, it's severely lacking like a lot of things these days.

I have also been into custom and classic cars for over 25 years, and have restored and customized several 60's Chevrolets and Cadillacs over that time. I've been fortunate enough to be able to take them to many car shows and events from coast to coast, and have met a lot of great people, because cars are great conversation starters. Many years, and cars later… I was finally able to work my way up to my dream car... a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. When the 1957 Chevrolet hit showroom floors, no one knew just how iconic it would become. It has the perfect combination of speed, function, and class... and it has become as much of an American icon as hot dogs and apple pie!

Bel Air Towing was born in 2017 with the goal of providing a valuable service for our community and creating excellent customer experiences along the way. I've tried to apply the lessons learned from the full service gas station trips with my Grandmother, and combine it with the speed, function, and class of my obsession, the '57 Chevy Bel Air. We will go the extra mile to earn your repeat business and referrals to your friends and family, by treating you like family.

There's an old saying about preparation that goes something like... "Don't jump off a cliff and try to knit your parachute on the way down". No one plans for a breakdown or accident, and dead batteries and flat tires happen to the best of us. Do yourself a favor and put our number in your cell phone contacts under "Towing” or “Tow Truck" and be prepared instead of being stuck "googling" on the side of the road when an unexpected break down occurs…. everybody knows that’s how you end up in a Stephen King movie!

Be safe out there, and remember to SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER if you see a tow truck or emergency vehicle on the side of the road. It’s the law.
